About FOOTHILL PINES GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

We are a family-owned and operated breeder that is just starting our breeding journey. My love for dogs started when I was 8 and decided to start a dog walking company. I knew then I wanted to spend every day of my life with dogs. Through many different seasons of our lives, we've had incredible dogs. Our passion for Golden Retrievers started when we got our first Golden (Rosie) and fell in love with everything the breed had to offer. Not only are they beautiful -- but they are great family companions, amazing hunting partners, smart, loyal, and genuinely the best friend you will ever have.  After we had Rosie, we knew that bringing the highest quality Golden Retrievers to others would be something that would be a great gift in our lives. 

We take great pride in our breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We only breed Golden Retrievers that meet our high standards for health, temperament, and conformation that are in line with breed standards. All dogs used for our breeding program must pass the following tests:

• OFA Radiographic Hip Evaluation
• OFA Radiographic Elbow Evaluation
• Advanced Cardiac Exam
• OFA Eye Exam
• Genetic Testing

We take great pride in making sure we are bringing you the best Golden Retriever we possibly can. 

We are based out of Gardnerville, Nevada at the base of the Sierra Mountains. Our Golden Retrievers are raised in our home and receive regular veterinary care and socialization. Our dogs are part of our family. 

All our puppies will be tested to ensure their personality and temperament fits the new family they will be placed with.
